The book opens

Hi,

I guess I should have done this quite some time back. I dont remember the last time I wrote anything that was not an email, a report or a presentation!!

I'm not sure who is going to read this. But I can assure one thing - this blog will always be written for what the title says - purely for the joy of writing.

What comes to mind right now is a quote by George Bernard Shaw which somehow I've never forgotten - "The rational man adapts himself to the world.The irrational man tries to adapt the world to suit himself. Therefore all progress depends on the irrational man"....

In the real world I've been pretty much the rational man.

Let me try and achieve some real progress at least in blogosphere :-)
